Understated but elegant, the weave of this fabric makes for a durable napkin or dependable hand towel.
Who made this product? The Community Friendly Movement began in New Dehli, India, and its widespread reach includes over 650 artisans from over 250 villages. In the village of Sanganer, near Jaipur, a community of artisans dedicated to screen printing carves their blocks and then presses the bold patterns to their handwoven textiles.
Why is it ethical? Through their support of artisans, the CFM develops role models, focusing on women, who not only support their families, but replicate their success throughout India, building larger ecosystem of fair trade communities.
